Genji Festival

On the 2nd Sunday of April. When the cherry blossoms bloom in Kawanishi, the Genji Festival adds even more color to this traditional town. In particular the march of those related to the Genji clan invites us into the world of the splendid history.

They march in a procession along the blooming cherry-tree lined street from Tada Shrine. For more information, call 072-740-1161, Industries, Labor and Tourism Division (Sangyo-rosei-ka).
