I would like to welcome you to the City of Kawanishi.

Thanks to the support of the citizens of Kawanishi City, I was inaugurated as the Mayor of Kawanishi City on October 28, 2006. In this position, I will put every effort into realizing my decision to make Kawanishi active and dynamic.

We are a thriving community, with a population of over 160,000, on the east of Hyogo Prefecture. I love Kawanishi, where I was born and grew up. I do hope to the residents of Kawanishi and the people who visit here to cherish our community and feel as I do.

It is my duty as mayor to establish a clear direction for the future of our city while working together with our citizens.

Let us come together to build a vigorous new Kawanishi City. I am looking forward to your positive participation and cooperation.
