Kyodokan Museum (Folk Museum of Kawanishi)

The old Hirayasu Mansion, a stately home built in a traditional Japanese style, became the Kyodokan Museum(Folk Museum of Kawanishi) in November 1988. The Hirayasu family managed a copper refinery.
The Hiraga Cottage, a western style and located in the south of Kawanishi was dismantled and reassembled “brick by brick” next door to the Hirayasu Mansion in November 1990. “Muse Respoir” was opened to public as a memorial museum of the master artists, Aoki and Hiradouri in November 1995.
