Area around Kawanishi Bus Terminal
There was a large bus terminal on the northern side of the Hankyu Railway Kawanishi-Noseguchi station. It took up 1,760㎡ in space, and functioned as a key transportation hub for the people to go in the direction of Seiwadai and other areas.The same place is nowadays occupied by commercial buildings. With the transfer of the railway station, the bus terminal was divided and placed at the two different sites: on the northern side of the Hankyu Railway station; and on the eastern side of the JR Kawanishi-Ikeda station.
Around 1976: command a view of Kawanishi Bus Terminal and Kawanishi-Inagawa Route from the roof of Jusco, supermarket nearby.
With commercial buildings rising, the views around this area have completely changed.
Imatsuji Crossing
"Imatsuji Crossing" is the crossing point of Route 176 and the Kawanishi-Itami Route.Aste-Kawanishi, a big shopping complex, is located on the northern-west side of this crossing.
Sometime between 1975 and 1985: command a view of "Imatsuji Crossing" from the east, a crossing point of Route 176 and Kawanishi-Itami Route.
Today's "Imatsuji Crossing": command a view of the crossing from the east. Aste-Kawanishi shopping complex rises on the right side.
