6th Friendship Ambassadors with Mayor Walker
Since 1998, we have sent the delegation of five Kawanishi Friendship Ambassadors.
All the Ambassadors were selected among a lot of applicants.
They go to Bowling Green to spend 10 days learning American culture and deepen friendship with Bowling Green citizens. Each ambassador stays with local host families, where they can experience the American lifestyle through schools, food, sightseeing, and many exciting activities. Especially one of the best experiences of the students is joining the lessons at local schools. They also visit the City Hall to visit the Mayor and tour the National Corvette Museum, caves and other local attractions in Bowling Green.
